On Thursday February 8, 2018, OAFC will be hosting a Legislative Health Fair at the Ohio Statehouse in the Atrium from 10 am to 1 pm. Tables will be set up around the Atrium for legislators to come visit clinic representatives, receive a service such as a blood pressure check, and talk about the clinic, community, and impact. We will be hosting a webinar on January 10th at 10 am regarding the event and how it will run, as well as discussing how to engage and be effective with legislators. This is a great chance to connect with legislators directly, so we encourage you to bring your Executive Director, Medical Director, a volunteer or two, and a patient (if possible), and come help inform legislators how important free clinics are to the communities they serve.
